Assertive Sentence(साधारण वाक्य )
Direct से Indirect बनाने नियम:-
1. यदि किसी वाक्य के Reported Speech में says to दिया है तो उसे tells में बदल देते हैं और यदि said to दिया है तो उसे told में बदल देते हैं।
2. Comma तथा Inverted comma को हटा देत हैं।
3. comma को हटाकर 'That' Conjunction का प्रयोग करते हैं।
4. सार्वभौमिक सत्य (Universal Truth) वाक्यों में 'that' conjunction जोड़कर बाकि वाक्य ज्यों का त्यों लिख देते हैं।
Examples:-
1. Direct : Rohit says to Radha,"Meera is a beautiful girl."
Indirect : Rohit tells Radha that Meera is a beautiful girl.
2. Direct : He said,"I am working hard."
Indirect : He said that he was working hard.
3. Direct : He said,"Honesty is the best policy."
Indirect : He said that honesty is the best policy.
4. Direct : Mohan said,"I go to my school daily."
Indirect : Mohan said that he goes to his school daily.
5. Direct : Sinni said to Binni,"I am going to buy a ne car."
Indirect : Sinni told Binni that she was going to buy a ne car.
6. Direct : Father said,"The sun rises in the East."
Indirect : Father said that the sun rises in the East.
7. Direct : The wiseman said,"Time and tide wait for none."
Indirect : The wiseman said that time and tide wait for none.
8. Direct : You said to him,"I will wash my clothes."
Indirect : You told him that you would wash your clothes.
9. Direct : Ravi said to seema,"You should go home."
Indirect : Ravi told seema that you should go home.
10. Direct : I said to brother,"Mahesh will go to Khair."
Indirect : I told my brother that Mahesh would go to Khair.
