10. IMPERATIVE SENTENCES

नियम :- 1. Imperative Sentences से प्रार्थना,आज्ञा,निवेदन,सुझाव आदि प्रकट होते हैं।    

नियम :- 2. इस प्रकार के वाक्यों में कर्ता YOU छिपा रहता है। 

नियम :- 3. Imperative Sentences के Affirmative sentence मुख्य क्रिया की Ist form से शुरू होते हैं। 

नियम :- 4. Imperative sentence की Passive Voice बनाते समय कर्ता से पहले Let का प्रयोग करते हैं। 

नियम :- 5. Imperative sentence के Negative वाक्यों की Passive Voice बनाते समय Be से पहले Not लगाते हैं।

नियम :- 6. Imperative sentence के Negative वाक्य Do not से शुरू होते हैं। 

नियम :- 7. Imperative sentence में यदि Never आये तो उस वाक्य  की Passive Voice बनाते समय Should +Never +be +IIIrd form का प्रयोग करते हैं। 

नियम :- 5. Imperative sentence की Passive Voice बनाते समय Please के स्थान पर You are requested to लिखकर वाक्य का शेष भाग ज्यों का त्यों लिख देते हैं।

Examples-

 1. Active  : Shut the door.

    Passive : Let the door be shut by you. 

2. Active   : Please help the poor.

    Passive : Let the poor be helped by you. 

Or Passive : You are requested to help the poor.

3. Active   : Call the peon.

    Passive : Let the peon be called by you. 

4. Active   : Don't make a noise.

    Passive : Let the noise not be made by you.

5. Active    : Never do it.

    Passive : It should never be done by you.

6. Active    : Please don't walk the right.

    Passive : You are requested not to walk the right.

7. Active    : Never tell a lie.

    Passive : It should never be told a lie.

8. Active   : Don't hate your poor relatives.

   Passive : You are requested not to hate your poor relatives.

9. Active    : Please ask him to go.

    Passive : You are requested to ask him to go.

10. Active  :Respect the elders.

    Passive : Let the elders be respected by you.
